For those of you that just can’t go without your daily dose of the news, there are 2 interesting sites that will keep you in touch with all that is newsworthy around the world. Newseum’s Today’s Front Pages allow you to view the front pages of over 500 newspapers covering the globe. Click the front page of any newspaper and a full-size view displays. From there you can navigate directly to the paper’s site to get to what didn’t make it to the front page. There’s also a cool interactive map that allows you to hover over a city and quickly see the front page.
The aggregator of all that is good and important, Google, has also developed a way to comb the world’s news sites and bring you a customized “Local” news page. Says Google: “we’re able to create a local section for any city, state or country in the world and include thousands of sources.”
Simply type in a city’s name or zip code and click the News link.
