Re: What's New in MS Word 2007?
To add the filepath to the footer in Word 2007 you should:
1. Got to Insert > Footer and scroll down to "edit footer" 2. Once in edit mode you should click on "Quick Parts" select "Field" from the dropdown. 3. Select "FileName" from the list, select your format and be sure to click on "Add path to filename" from the "Field options". Hope this helps. |

Bless you! I was afraid it was going to be something simple like a little box to check!
In return, although you may already know this, if you place your cursor arrow on the ribbon, you can use the scroll on your mouse to open the different tabs. |

Re: What's New in MS Word 2007?
Hi Phyllis,
I am not sure exactly if the properties turn on automatically, but today I was viewing 'my documents' and right clicked on a word document and selected 'properties' from the list. This pulled up the ability to change the details you are referencing. Thanks |

Re: What's New in MS Word 2007?
Nicole, Thanks. That is exactly what I was looking for!
If you open a 2007 document, then click on the Windows icon at the top left of the screen, click on Prepare you can choose to input information into a properties you will be able to edit those properties. But what I really need is a date of creation on them and it looks like I'll have to input it manually. Not a hardship, but just one more thing to remember to do for client work. |
