Client Management Database
Hello, would anyone know which microsoft office program is appropriate to maintain a client database? I would need to sort and print reports for many different things, example: age, names, list of contacts in the last week, sort by gender, race, type of account, etc.

My supervisor suggested the ACT management software program. In reviewing this program it seems very similar to Microsoft Outlook. I am not aware of Outlook have the capabilities to perform the funcitons I need.

What about Microsoft Access?

If you already have the client data in an Excel spreadsheet, you can import that easily and begin sorting/filtering data to create meaningful reports.

Hope it helps!

Re: Client Management Database
I believe Access has a template for CRM for both Access 2003 and 2007 on Microsoft Office online. Another option is something like salesforce.com.

Good Luck.

I would suggest Access as the best Microsoft Office program to use for your needs.
