I keep a log of all V and P days for my entire company. Does this report have the ability to have a monthly calendar that will show each person off on a day without having to open each individuals tab?

Thanks,
Mandy

Re: Absence and Vacation Tracker (Excel)
Does anyone know of a way to capture all of the individual employee's time off entries into a monthly snapshot...where you can have a quick way to see who all is off on a particular day or timeframe?

Thanks!
Jill

4. In Total worksheet insert a row between rows 6 and 7
5. Copy the contents of B8:T8 into A7:T7
6. Mark A7:T7 and change (with Ctrl-H) Jones into Green within the marked area
7. Make a hyperlink in B7 to the worksheet Green 09

Repeat for all the new employees.
This Absence and Vacation Tracker does not provide any automatization of the process.
Thank you so much for this sheet. I really want to use it, but I am having a problem adding the new employees. How do I do the hyper link? Am I really to copy B8:T8 and paste into A7:T7? I believe I would be pasting into A8:T8 instead. Please clarify.

Thank you very much.

I found this tracker so helpful and it will be a great tool for me to use. I too need to track vacations in terms of hours. Can anyone let me know if this is possible and how i would adjust the formula?

Cheers

I too use an excel spreadsheet for tracking vacation days.

Employees where I work earn vacation days depending on how many years they've been with the company. Formula is run off their hire date. Once you plug in a hire date MM/DD/YYY it formulates how many vacation days they earn: <5 years : 10 days; 6-10 years : 15 days; 11-15 days : 20 days; >16 years : 25 days.
