I like the tracker and could find it useful for our tracking; however, we use vacations by the hour so someone couold take 1 hour of vacation which has been complicated to track. what adjustment to the formula is needed to convert it from days to hours?

Hello Chrissy,

The Absence and Vacation Tracker which Jennifer Muhr posted is lovely, but I am having great difficulty with one area - that being the formula below. Jennifer gave instructions on how to copy it to the new employee line which I've added, but I cant change the formula name (eg Tibbits, W or the like). It just comes back error in formula. I was wondering if you could give Jen my email address, and perhaps she would lend some assistance to me.
I've posted it in "questions"but am still awaiting someone (anyone's) response.

Short instruction assuming the name of Abraham Green as a new employee:

1. Insert a new worksheet and name it Green 09
2. Copy (with Ctrl-A, Ctrl-C) the contents of the worksheet Jones 09 into Green 09
3. Write the name of Abraham Green into the cell D3 of Green 09 worksheet
4. In Total worksheet insert a row between rows 6 and 7
5. Copy the contents of B8:T8 into A7:T7
6. Mark A7:T7 and change (with Ctrl-H) Jones into Green within the marked area
7. Make a hyperlink in B7 to the worksheet Green 09

Repeat for all the new employees.
This Absence and Vacation Tracker does not provide any automatization of the process.

I can't open this up. What was updated on this one? I was wondering how this could be converted from days to hours. THe employees are awarded based on the avg hrs wked the previous year. So for example, they could be awarded 240 hours (5 wks), 48 hours per week. And it is awarded like 8 hours per day til the 5th day of week and it would be the remainder of week unused, which in this case 16 hours.
Can I still use Jennifer's vacation tracker with the right modifications to it? If so, any suggestions on where I should start? Thank you!
