Hi Everyone,

We're shopping around for reasonably priced and very dependable car service provider in New York City. We've used Tri-State and Carmel in the past but my boss does not find them dependable. We've been referred to A1 New York Limos and Tel-A-Car. Has anyone had any good or bad experiences with either of these companies or do you have any recommendations?

I greatly appreciate your feedback.

I've heard Boston Coach is very dependable but it might be on the high end when it comes to price.

My company uses and loves using NY Black Car Cars aka Last Car. Car orders are done via the web, you can obtain a copy of the receipt after use from the web, they email you when the car is on it way to pick up your boss. We love them. Review the web at:

I almost exclusively work with Lana's Limo. I work in Times Square, where it's hard to have cars stop due to traffic and police, etc. Lana's drivers always take care of my executives - keep cell phone numbers for everyone, call us when there is trouble, tracks flights for airport transfers etc. Excellent service - and cheaper than Boston Coach. I have used Boston Coach with a past employer and found them to be very good, but I agree they are a bit pricey. We have worked with First Corporate Sedan Service of New York for over a year and they've been terrific - very dependable for our picky CEO. Like the service someone else mentioned, FCSNY can be reserved on line and receipts/reports can be run on line also.

Lana's Limo is the service I use for business and my personal needs. I have been booking cars in NYC for 22 years and have never found more reliable service. Their prices are extremely competitive. Besides Boston and NYC, they have often been able to make arrangements for me in other cities as well. I always call them as my first resource when my executives are traveling. Lanas Limo

Another fine car service in NY is Oscar Gonzales at San Cristobal Limo Service - 973-771-0795. For example LGA to NY City runs $55 plus their service area includes all the airports to Conn, Westchester, New Jersey and NY.
