Letter of Resignation as a Board Member
I'm planning to write a letter of resignation as a board member of a non-profit organization because I don't agree with the Board Director's policies. I don't want to say that on the letter. I would like to be subtle and indicate that lack of time or any other excuse are the factors for my resignation. Can you give me some ideas? Thanks.

Re: Letter of Resignation as a Board Member
I would state exactly what you said above - lack of time. Also, focus on the fact that you appreciate the opportunity and enjoyed your time working with the people involved. Don't focus on why you're leaving, instead focus on what you gained while with them. You have the right idea though - I don't think it's necessary to bring up all of your specific reasons (such as disagreeing with policies). Keep it simple and straight forward.
