MOS Certification?
I'm considering getting the Microsoft Office Specialist certification. Does anyone out there find that it makes a difference in your job? Or, is it alot of work (work, study & test taking stress) just to have something to add to a resume?
Thanks! |

Re: MOS Certification?
I have found that the certifications for Word and Outlook 2007 have been very beneficial to me and they look great on the resume too. I have become the Word and Office expert for the company where I work (even the IT guy asks for help from me on those 2 topics) and also for my local IAAP Chapter members.
I didn't really study for the Outlook exam but spent a considerable amount of time studying for the Word 2007 exam. I really learned a lot through the studying. The improved self esteem from knowing that I know the material is an added benefit to any certification. |
