Cell/data phone rental for overseas trip to Lebanon

My manager is traveling to Lebanon from the US for 2 weeks and would like to have access to his phone/voicemail/email while he's on the road. Has anyone had any experience with cell phone rental?

Amy, our President has a Verizon Wireless account and I have rented international phones from VW when he has traveled to Europe. Check their website. It is pretty straight forward; also their customer service reps have been very helpful. They FedEx the phone so you get it overnight, but it won't generate service time until you need it too. Also, gives youe easy directions for forwarding his current cell phone number to the new phone while he is out of the country.
