We’re planning a trip to Yellowstone National Park, we have our reservations in the park for lodging. Where is the best place to fly into?

The following answer was submitted by Darlene McLean:

Idaho Falls, Bozeman or Billings depending on where in the park you are staying. Idaho Falls is what I recently used for a West Yellowstone location. US Highway 20 makes travel from Idaho Falls into the park fairly easy.

You can also fly into Jackson Hole which is itself a great destination (summer or winter). It's about 95 miles away.

Cody, WY is also a good airport to fly into and is near the east entrance to the Park. It's the most beautiful drive into the park, in my opinion.
