Typing on an electronic application
Hi,

This may seem like an elementary question, but for the life of me, I cannot remember how to type onto an application with lines after each question, without the lines disappearing or moving forward.

Could someone tell me how to override this? Thanks

Example:

Last Name ______________________

First Name ______________________

Hello,

I have had this problem before as well. I do not think that their is an easy answer. I believe that you can type your text in an underline format but the lines may not match up. The other thing is to reformat the lines (delete the old ones, and draw actual lines and not underlines). If you draw the lines, then you can actually copy and paste them.

Attached is a link that covers the ways to design forms with lines. But it seems to me like you already have a form that has already been created. In any case, here is the link:

If someone has any better ideas, I'd be happy to hear them, too.

Thanks.

Re: Typing on an electronic application
There are two ways I use depending on the work:
1. Highlight the entire line for replacement, Use Ctrl+U, space to where you want to add text, type text (line before will appear), space to end of line, type period (the line between text and period will appear)then Ctr+U to end underline.
2. Go to placement section for text, Ctrl+U,highlight for replacement, type in desired text, then remove extra lines.

Hope this helps. It saves me alot of time.
