How can I ask my boss for an invitation letter?
I have been working for an international company about three years. Unfortunely, it will close operations in my country this year.

Im thinking on asking my boss for an invitation letter in order to get a VISA, but I cant find the right words to tell him.

Please give me some advice or maybe you should send me a template.

Thank you!

I think you need to sit down with you boss and let him or her know that if the option is available, you would be interested in continuing with the company and would be willing to make a move if necessary. The option might not be available so if you state that right away you make it more comfortable for both you and your boss. Then they are free to say it is not available, and if the answer is negative you will know it wasn't a personal rejection of you, but it just wasn't an option.
