When Is the Right time to ask for a raise?
When Is the Right time to ask for a raise?
I have been at my job now Seven months, at 90 days I had my review and felt it went great. I know I am a great asset to this company. So why am I so shy to ask why I haven't recieved one yet?

You might want to check with your HR dept. My company only does annual raises at a set percentage. Unless you are promoted into a new position, there are no raises except the across the board, once a year, percentage.

My company also does Annual Raises, but I decided to take some initiative and do my own research.

Make sure you have ample evidence that you are worth more. Take in account your experience, contributions to the company, projects you've initiated and new things you've brought to the table.

Also, get them examples of similar jobs to yours and how much they are offering. Call around a few recruiting agencies and ask how much is typical.

I'd also suggest a 'plan b'.
As the old adage goes, "When you want a puppy, start out by asking for a horse".

Good luck
