Goals and Objectives
I am required to fill out a workplan and write down my goals and objectives. I find I do so much in a day that it is hard for me to narrow down my goals and objectives, my job seems to be doing a task, getting it done and then on to the next thing. Anybody know of any articles or advice to get my head around doing this and thinking long term instead of short term?

Re: Goals and Objectives
Hi Patricia,
Short term goals might include reducing costs in areas you are resposible for; i.e., supplies, (office & breakroom), travel expenditures, etc. Training in an area where you want to show improvement or learn a new skill.

Long term goals might include completing courses at a local college of university, finishing a degree or obtaining an advanced degree.

Re: Goals and Objectives
Thank you Robin. I don't think anybody likes filling these things in, but I understand the importance of it. I think it should come with a manual.
Thanks again for your suggestions.
