Christmas Parties - What are you doing?
Hi everyone,

I'm curious to hear what we're all planning for our corporate Christmas Parties this year!!

My company is only small (we're budgeting for 20 people). We managed to book a lunch, tour and clay shooting at a local winery - all under our budget!! It's going to be a great afternoon.

Please share what your company is doing this year... I'd love to know. I need ideas for NEXT year!

Re: Christmas Parties - What are you doing?
Hi Kateena,

It's been quite a while since I've heard "Christmas Parties". We had to make the change to "Holiday Party" so no one is offended and feels comfortable to attend.

You've been able to put a nice event together and really sounds like a fun time for all.

We are a small office. We are talking about doing a Secret Santa (not sure that word we will substitute there) and then a get together at a local restaurant. Also has been some talk about a Pot Luck Luncheon to keep down the cost. This is my first holiday being with a non-profit - WHAT A BIG DIFFERENCE!! Spending most of my career in the corporate world - the budget was much higher.

I too would like to hear about what others are doing, maybe I can get some ideas to make this one better!!

Kateena - For such a small group try something like a bowling tournament party or if you have it in your area day-glo golf tournament. We also looked into what they call Laser Tag -- it is great fun and very easy, cheap and simple for a group of that size.

We did Laser Tag (2 games) with pizza, salad and drinks. Had prizes for the top team and the top shooter --- it was a blast and everyone from 65 to 21 had a ball.
