Help me!! what do you do if you work as an assistant to two vp's and you feel as though one is setting you up for failure or trying to push you out the door? There is three woman in the office that do clerical work and the VP has even tried to start problems with the three clerical support people trying to get them to get mad at one another and say that this one said this or that. The three of us are pretty good friends we have done things together outside of work and usually we get along with each other. We have discovered what the VP is trying to do and we have made a pack with each other. Any suggestions on what we can do besides that and what can I do to ensure that I don't get pushed out the door.

My most favorite is my boss who takes the word of anyone who complains to him about me ("she sprays things while cleaning her desk and I'm allergic," "she made me talk to another co-worker who I complained about," "she thinks she knows everything," etc., etc. etc.) He then brings these things up in my performance review but admits that they have nothing to do with my job performance. My next favorite is the manager who sits 3 cubes from me and pops chewing gum.
