New to the site
Hello, everyone!

I just joined the site this afternoon. I have always identified myself as a musician with a day job. But after lay-offs (only two weeks ago), I realized (1) I need to learn how to be better at my job so I can be indispensible, and (2) stop looking at the job as "just a job." Having done some research this afternoon, I realize that although I'm a decent enough executive assistant, I clearly could be 100% better. With a 100% better attitude.

Looking forward to getting to know you all, and checking out the site.

Thanks!
Valerie
