Re: Length of Resume
Elena,
Focus on content, not length. A two page resume is certainly reasonable.

You might check out the two part resume writing article I did with an OA member. It might give you some ideas. In the meantime, don't get too caught up in the idea that there is a certain length a resume should or needs to be. You want to provide a nice, overall picture of your experience and skills.

Re: Length of Resume
Personally, I've always been told that resumes should never go over 2 pages. In fact, I was responsible for hiring a few people at my last job, and I actually discarded resumes over 3 pages. Although I was hiring for an editing position (in which it's important to be brief and concise), I think that some hiring managers get overwhelmed by reading lengthy resumes. But, I agree that it's definitely better to include important information about yourself than to leave it out for the sake of brevity. What do you guys think?

Re: Length of Resume
I think as long as its either a FULL 1 page or a full 2 pages it is fine. Resumes that are only 3/4 of a page long for a 1 page resume or anything less than 1 3/4 pages for a 2 page resume look awful.

Best of luck!
