In times of emergency and disaster, communities have to pull together. The OfficeArrow community is no exception. We have folks from all around the world who join us here each and every day. And as most of you know, the past few months have been hard for many areas around the globe. Here in the US, Hurricane Ike recently pummeled the gulf coast, devastating towns throughout Texas and Louisiana. Texas is now facing the biggest recovery effort ever in state history. Our friends in Taiwan are dealing with the aftermath of Typhoon Sinlaku, which triggered raging floods and landslides over this past weekend, and is currently barreling towards Japan, impacting parts of China along the way. It hasn't been an easy summer.

For those of you living in areas that have been affected by these and other recent tragic events, we want you to know that you have our support and our thoughts are with you. OfficeArrow will be making a donation on behalf of the OA community to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. If you would like to show your personal support, you can make a donation online at http://www.american.redcross.org/.

Since here at OfficeArrow we also believe in being proactive, we wanted to point you in the direction of some important information that can help you prepare for disaster should something happen in your neck of the woods. Check out How to Create an Emergency Procedures Guide and Updating Emergency Contacts (and use our Emergency Contact Form Template).

It always seems that hard times bring people together. We're a strong community here at OfficeArrow, in good times and bad. Let's show our support to those who really need it right now. Give a shout out to your OA brothers and sisters in the discussion section. Go on - show ‘em you care!
