Showing Thanks: Contest Winner Announcement

Thanksgiving is a time to appreciate all we have and our recent contest (Things I'm Thankful For) sparked some incredibly moving discussions on this topic. We had over 40 responses and while all were all different, we all appear united in our gratitude for two simple things; the opportunity to work and to surround ourselves with loving and supportive people.

The holiday has now passed and we are eager to award a winner in our "Things I'm Thankful For Contest." With so many profound responses, we simply couldn't choose one any other way than randomly. So, without further ado, our winner is Debbie Scarborough (OA Member: DeDe04)! A resident of Perry, Georgia, Debbie is no stranger to strife yet she faces each day with positivity and appreciation for the opportunities she and her family have. She writes:

"I'm Thankful that my loved ones are all safe and healthy. My children (Son & Daughter in law) have survived 6 tours in Iraq and are now safely stationed in Germany for 4 years with my beautiful granddaughter. My daughter and 3 grand-daughters are healthy, happy, and close enough for frequent hugs. I'm thankful my Mother is a 5-year survivor of Cancer while my Father lost his battle and is now our Guardian Angel. My job that I love is surviving the mess our Economy is in. As I read the posts here, I am Thankful that Office Arrow offers me the opportunity to meet new friends and enrich my life and work environment through others. I am blessed to be healthy so that I may take care of my Mother. I'm Blessed...."
