Here on OfficeArrow, we're always talking about new and helpful ways to stay productive and get organized. There is, of course, one place we don't mind being unorganized and messy. That special place is the junk drawer.

For the past few weeks, we've asked our members, "What's the strangest thing in your junk drawer?" You all had some very random and often hilarious oddities lurking around your desk. Big thanks go out to everyone who shared their story!

Congratulations are in order for Ella Eison (OA Member: tripl_e) of Chicago, IL. Ella will receive:

She shares:

"I have a hard time throwing out stuff. I totally believe that once you do, you may just so happen to need it shortly thereafter. I currently have a junk drawer and a junk box at work. In my junk drawer I toss my used post-it notes and other scraps of paper where I've written something I may have to refer to later. It hasn't happened but you never know. I also tend to hang on to used note pads too. But, I looked in there today and dug around to find 2 Christmas self-inking stampers (one snowman, one snow covered house); a yellow, 12-hour snap-light lightstick; a sewing case; safety pins; a couple of (disposable) utility masks; a Q-tip and a bag of screws and their corresponding blue anchors. I know we no longer use these in the office but I also have 6 Imation high density 1.44mb blank disks. Did I mention I have the 8.45 oz carton of purified drinking water that has a 5-year shelf life with the expiration date of Jan 5, 2007? It was provided to everyone in my office building that I used to work in back in 2001. I've moved three times to two different locations since then but I just can't throw it away. What would happen if the building I'm in caught fire? LOL. Help me please because I just can't help myself. I won't even begin to discuss the junk box. . ."

Thank you again to everyone who participated! We had a lot of fun reading about all of your nutty knick-knacks. Don't forget to check back tomorrow for another fun and easy contest announcement!
