Have you been known to make unrealistic demands on your coworkers and managers? Do you get angry when people tell you "no" or don't do things your way? Have you ever been called a "prima donna" or "drama queen?" Or, do you have the opposite reputation and often allow others to walk all over you? Take this quiz to find out whether or not you're an office diva.

Instructions:

Read each statement and select an answer that best describes what you would do in the situation. Although you may not find one that describes you perfectly, choose the one that works best.

1. You're asked to collaborate with one of your coworkers on an important project. The problem? He's widely regarded as the office slacker, and you know that you'll end up doing all of the work. When your boss asks you for feedback regarding the assignment, you:

A. Divulge how your partner is seriously inept and ask for another one - or, better yet, whether you can work alone.

B. Politely explain that you're afraid that you'll end up shouldering more than your fair share of the workload and ask if she has any suggestions for handling the situation.

C. Ask her generic questions regarding the assignment and refuse to bring up the situation. After all, you wouldn't want to throw your coworker under the bus.

2. You're traveling to Boston on business when something frustrating happens: Your luggage gets lost. Panicking, you walk up to the airline help desk and:

A. Demand that they find your luggage pronto and offer you a daily stipend for travel necessities.

B. Ask about their stipend policies and provide them with contact information for your baggage delivery.

C. Meekly explain your problem and leave the airline representative with your phone number and temporary address.

3. Your boss asks you to perform a task that you feel is beneath you. After she has gone over the assignment, you:

A. Explain why one of your coworkers would be better suited for the task.

B. Politely question her motivation for assigning you the task and then get started on it ASAP.

C. Heed her instructions on how to execute it. She's your boss, and what she says goes.

4. To save money, your company decides to eliminate its maintenance crew and asks each department to clean the office one week each month. When it's your team's month to clean, you:

A. Let the junior members of your department exert the elbow grease. Since when is cleaning mentioned in your job description?

B. Express your dislike of the task to your coworkers but ultimately help out and clean.

C. Spearhead the cleaning venture and refuse to leave until the entire office is clean.

5. Your CEO asks you to plan a company golf tournament. Two weeks before the tournament is scheduled to occur, you're told that the event's cancelled due to financial constraints. Unfortunately, you've spent three months planning it and have booked all of the vendors. Frustrated, you:

A. March into your boss's office and demand that you have the rest of the day off due to emotional distress.

B. Schedule a meeting with your boss in which you can voice your frustrations and ask why you weren't informed of their decision earlier.

C. Take a brief walk outside to process the situation and then head back to your desk. There's no reason to get upset about something you can't control.

Count the number of A's, B's and C's on your list.

If mostly A's appeared on your list: If it walks like a diva, talks like a diva, and acts like a diva, then it's a diva! Whether you admit it or not, you're a corporate prima donna. Not one to shy away from asserting yourself, you regularly make demands of others and showcase your emotions. Although this can be healthy to a point, it could damage your professional reputation. Learn how to keep your emotions in check here.

If mostly B's appeared on your list: Congratulations, you're neither a diva nor a pushover. Although you may have diva-like tendencies, you're careful to keep them under wraps at work. As a result, your coworkers and managers consider you assertive, yet professional. Keep up the great work!

If mostly C's appeared on your list: Diva? Not at all! In fact, you're so un-diva-like that you often have trouble standing up for yourself. Fortunately, help is on the way. To boost your confidence at work, check out this extremely helpful article.
